Shipping & Delivery

How we pack, ship, and deliver your pieces from our forest to your door.

Overview

Every order from Chehalem Green is packed and shipped with the same care we bring to our woodworking and forestry work. Because many of our items are handcrafted, unique, or made from live edge slabs, shipping may look a little different than typical mass-produced products.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to addresses within the United States. If you are interested in international shipping, please reach out via our contact form and we’ll let you know what may be possible for your specific order.

Processing Time

In-stock items typically ship within a few business days after your order is placed. Made-to-order or custom pieces may require additional time for milling, finishing, and curing.

If your order includes both ready-to-ship and custom items, we may ship pieces separately so you can receive available items sooner.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

Smaller items (such as drink coasters, charcuterie boards, and smaller décor pieces) are generally shipped via standard parcel carriers with tracking.

Larger items, including live edge tables and oversized pieces, may ship via freight or specialized carriers. In those cases, we will provide additional information and coordination details once your order is ready to ship.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated based on the size, weight, destination, and method required for safe delivery of your order. You will see estimated shipping costs at checkout before completing your purchase. For custom or oversized projects, we may provide a separate shipping quote.

Packaging & Sustainability

Whenever possible, we use recycled and recyclable materials in our packing process, while still protecting each piece during transit. Larger or heavier items may ship in custom crates or reinforced packaging to prevent damage.

Our goal is to balance durability and safety with minimizing waste and honoring the resources that went into each board or slab.

Delivery & Receiving Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information (when available for the chosen carrier). Please make sure someone is available to receive larger items, as they may require a signature or coordination with the carrier.

For very large or heavy pieces, curbside delivery may be standard. If you need additional services (such as inside delivery or white-glove setup), contact us before placing your order so we can explore options.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

We carefully inspect each piece before it leaves our forest. If your order arrives with visible damage to the box or crate, please photograph the packaging and contents right away and retain all materials.

Then contact us at info@chehalemgreen.net with your order details and photos so we can work with you and the carrier on a resolution.
