At approximately 2 inches thick, this solid hardwood cutting board provides exceptional stability and a substantial feel on the countertop. To complete the board, the walnut and maple are treated with Chehalem Green food-grade waxoil. The penetrating waxoil finish conditions and protects the wood while dramatically enhancing the walnut's deep, rich coloration and the contrasting lighter tones of the maple inlays. It leaves the board with a smooth, natural-looking food-contact surface without obscuring the beauty and feel of real wood.
